Charlotte is simply amazing! She did my makeup for my wedding and made me look so beautiful. She had done my sister-in-law's hair and makeup for her wedding to rave reviews a couple years ago too.

On my big day, Charlotte made sure that I looked like myself only better and fancier. She gave me a glow that lasted all day and put on lashes to die for! The lashes looked so natural and people thought they were mine. I actually loved my makeup so much that I slept in it, false lashes and all, and wore it to my wedding brunch the next day.

My bridal party and mother also had their makeup done by Charlotte and they all really loved their makeup too. My mom kept her lashes on for the brunch the next day too. My photographer, who hadn't worked with Charlotte before the wedding, was really impressed with the bridal party's makeup asked for Charlotte's card. A friend who was at the wedding and is getting married soon asked for Charlotte's card too. Everyone just raved!

In addition to being an incredible makeup artist, Charlotte is also very calming and sweet - I was a stressed out bride the morning of the wedding and was able to relax as soon as I was in Charlotte's capable hands.

The trial was great; she tweaked the amount/style of make-up so that the look was exactly what I wanted. My friend had mentioned that I should try the false eyelashes during the trial, so I figured this is the time to go for it. They looked amazing both at the trail and at the wedding!

On the day of, Charlotte arrived exactly on time and was ready to get started. My mom and sister didn't do hair/makeup trials ahead of time, so Charlotte took the time to pause, ask questions, and make sure that they were happy with the hair and make-up as she was working (they were!).

The makeup that Charlotte uses really stays on. I kept meaning to go to the ladies' room during the reception to reapply lipstick, but I was having too much fun. From the pictures, it's clear that the lipstain that Charlotte used stayed on. The airbrushed make-up also withstood the warm temps. at the outdoor ceremony.

I loved the way that I looked on my wedding day and I received so many compliments from friends and family members. Charlotte is wonderful to work with. She's kind, easy, going, and professional. I whole-heartedly recommend her!

I started getting my hair cut with Charlotte once I booked her for my hair/makeup for my wedding. She did an outstanding job on my wedding day. Everyone commented the entire night on my hair. I'm really happy I used Charlotte and her team for my wedding! Charlotte was very responsive during the wedding process - making it really easy and convenient to work with her. The person who did my hair and makeup was also really responsive - she spoke with me between my hair trial and my wedding day about different styles that would work for my hair type. She was extremely efficient with all of the updo's, and did 7 hairstyles In record time. She was able to suggest the styles she thought would look best on us.. And mix it with pictures we had of styles that we liked. We all loved her finished product!! Highly recommended!

Charlotte Phinney's hair and makeup artists are extraordinarily talented, and they made me (the bride), my bridal party, and the mothers of the bride/groom look and feel like superstars on my wedding day. Everyone in the bridal party was commenting how the hair/makeup they provided was far and away better than any other stylists they've worked with. This talent did come at a price, of course, and these services were definitely a bit of a splurge, but I didn't want to take any chances with hair and makeup on my wedding day. I would definitely recommend enlisting any of Charlotte's stylists for your big day!

I hired Marissa from Charlotte & Co. to do hair/makeup for my wedding day on August 2, 2014, and she was the best! I honestly cannot say enough about her and this company and do not know where to begin. I found Charlotte & Co through the Knot and hired her based on reviews from other brides. From the beginning, Charlotte was nothing but professional and responsive. She went out of her way to make sure I found a stylist who was the right fit for me on my wedding day and did everything she could to make sure I was happy and comfortable. This is how I ended up with Marissa and could not have been happier.

When I first met Marissa at my trial run, I couldn't help but feel like she was someone I have known for ages. She is such a warm and friendly person and made me feel comfortable with her right from the start. Marissa really listened to what I wanted and worked with me to make sure I got the most perfect style for my wedding day. As a bride, with so many other anxieties, she made me feel at ease so leading up to my wedding day this was one less thing I had to worry about.

On the wedding day, Marissa was on time and let her true talents shine as she so flawlessly pulled together such stunning looks for me and my bridesmaids. A couple of my bridesmaids were skeptical in the beginning because they couldn't imagine someone could do their hair/makeup in such a short amount of time but Marisa is such a natural talent that she had everyone looking beautiful in no time at all. Needless to say, they were all impressed with the final results. All I can say is WOW! Everyone in my bridal party looked stunning and I could not have been happier with the final results.

We also loved the airbrush makeup! I would definitely recommend this to any bride on her wedding day...it really does last all day and I didn't even touch up my makeup once. I have never received so many compliments about my hair/makeup and neither have my bridesmaids. Even as I showed someone pictures today, they commented on how much they loved my hair and makeup and asked me who did it.

Working with Charlotte was one of the easiest and best decisions I made for our wedding. She and Marissa provided hair & makeup services for my wedding including 8 bridesmaids and my mother. Working with Charlotte was a breeze from the second I contacted her. She was quick to respond to email, even from vacation, and made sure all my questions were answered clearly. I brought a few pictures to my trial and she did exactly what I was thinking/wanted on the first try! The contracting, payment schedule, etc. is clear and easy to follow. Charlotte Phinney was beyond amazing to work with from start to finish! I had looked at dozens of different on location hair and makeup stylists for my September 2015 wedding. Once I found Charlotte and looked at her portfolio, I knew the choice had been decided! Charlotte did my hair, my mother and mother-in-law's hair and makeup, and my grandmother's hair and makeup. Ashley did the hair for my six bridesmaids. Charlotte and Ashley arrived ahead of schedule (30 minutes before they were scheduled to be there) and promptly began setting up and prepping. Both Charlotte and Ashley were so kind and genuine, creative, professional, efficient, and most importantly calm! They kept the day running smoothly and on schedule! I decided I wanted to switch up my hair style from what Charlotte had done at my trial and she was more than happy to accommodate the change while working efficiently to do so. It is clear that she is in the business to make her brides happy and finds great pride in making her brides look and feel beautiful. Everyone kept commenting to me on how happy they were with their hair and makeup and how amazing Charlotte and Ashley were to work with. Charlotte did my makeup and hair for my wedding on Aug 12, 2012. She was wonderful-- using airbrush makeup for me and my mom (did not have a wedding party).  My photographer suggested that I use her because she felt Charlotte was the best and the photos always came out great when she did the bride's make up.  I was very happy with her work!! She is very easy to work with and has a personality that puts everyone at ease. She did not do a trial run on me because I lived out of state so could not be available--any case, the results were STILL fantastic.  I hope I have another event up north where I could go to her again because I had so much fun working with her!

As another reviewer mentioned, I cannot say enough about Charlotte and the work she did for my December wedding at the Barker Tavern in Scituate.  I had a trial done quite a bit earlier and absolutely loved the look she created for both my hair and make-up.  On the day of my wedding, she met my nieces and me at the Barker Tavern so we could have everything done and then get dressed without having to travel anywhere.  Not only is she extremely professional, she has a very calming effect especially for a bride!  She is just the nicest person and an absolute delight!  I really hope I will have an opportunity to recommend her to others because I definitely will!!

I just had a trial run of hair and makeup for my wedding, and all I can say is wow! I almost never wear makeup or fuss with my hair and, any time someone has tried to put make up on me, I've felt a) not like myself and b) that I look like a circus clown. Needless to say, I was utterly terrified about the idea of someone airbushing makeup on my face, applying false eyelashes, and using rollers and hairspray on my virgin (ok, not quite virgin, but nearly virgin) locks. Charlotte immediately made me feel at ease with her professional, warm, and lovely demeanor. She asked a lot of helpful questions and was very patient and reassuring that she would keep the look natural, while at the same time making me look special and beautiful for my wedding day. Charlotte came to my daughter's apartment at 8 am the day of the wedding to do hair and make up for a wedding party of three. She was with us for almost 4 hours and we found her to be very accommodating and efficient yet unobtrusive. We all loved our individual make up applications and different hair styles. The eyelash extensions were a fun surprise that added even more glamour to everyone. My daughter, the bride, had decided to wear her long hair down for the day. Charlotte arranged her long tresses beautifully AND they lasted all day! Charlotte even had a selection of beautiful hair clips with her. We all would highly recommend using the services of Charlotte for your special day. She is very talented and a lovely person!

I had the pleasure of having Charlotte do my makeup, my mother, mother-in-law and my bridesmaids. She also did my mother and my mother in laws hair updo's. Charlotte was my second makeup trial in my quest to find the PERFECT makeup for my wedding and the second I met her I knew she would be my makeup artist. My makeup was so important to me and she made me look my most beautiful, flawless self. I literally have never felt or thought I looked glamourous, but Charlotte made me feel and look like a movie star on this most important and special day. The airbrush was absolutely amazing, and through the heat, dancing, etc it still looked perfect 10 hours later (We had a freak of a 90 degree day in May). I cannot possibly recommend Charlotte enough. She was warm, calm and listened to all of my anxieties and requests. An absolute doll to work with, I would use her again 100x over! Her prices are totally reasonable and so worth every single penny!

Charlotte did a cut and highlight for me in November 2014 at her Salon and I loved how perfect my highlights were and it was the best cut I had ever had. I then had a hair and makeup trial and she did exactly what I asked for from her looking at a picture. A few days before my wedding, I decided to change the style of my hair and I sent her a picture to see if the change would be ok and she once again did it perfect on the day of. I had a trial run for my wedding with Joanne and she did an amazing job! She was very professional and listened to how I wanted my hair and makeup done. The day of my wedding, she did my hair and makeup exactly how she did it in the trial run.
