Although they hate to admit it, Claire and Tom met on Tinder. Their first date was in Somerville close to where Claire worked and where Tom was living at the time. They knew it was kismet after discovering they shared the same birthday!
They had a relatively simple (but elegant, of course!) garden wedding. Claire’s father is Australian, so they based their color scheme from Australian plants (dusty blues, greens, and pinks, as well as whites).
The theme of the day was love!
They were married in the garden of Claire’s childhood home. Claire’s parents moved into the house in June 1994, she was born in July 1994.
There could not have been a more symbolic venue for the couple to begin the new chapter of their lives.
Their dog and cat were in attendance as well as a bagpiper to honor Clare’s Scottish grandmother.

Comments from the bride:
We know, as do our love ones, that our relationship has been a fairytale from the very beginning. It is cliché but it’s true that our wedding was unequivocally the best day of our lives!
Lastly we want to give a huge shout out and thank you to our wedding planner, Yvonne, owner of Unique Melody Events and Design. She is creative, reliable, knowledgeable, just the sweetest person one could ever hope to work with, and recommended the best vendors including Charlotte Phinney!
