Meet our Featured Bride

Catherine and Alex were high school sweethearts who began dating when they were sixteen!

“Rustic chic” was the theme of their wedding. Catherine brought fall and sunset colors into her floral arrangements with red and orange hombre roses.

Meaningful traditions were incorporated into the day. During their ceremony the couple did the old, celtic tradition of “handfasting” which is were the phrase “tying the knot” comes from.

After the ceremony they sawed a log in half, which is an old Bavarian tradition symbolizing the husband’s and wife’s first completed task as a married couple.
