Meet Our Featured Bride
Alisson and Thomas met on the first day of their first class as chemistry majors at the University of Rhode Island. They hung out as part of the small group of the chemistry majors and eventually went on a few dates at the end of the semester.
They planned to go out for Boston’s First Night on winter break but a huge snowstorm kept them at Tom’s mom’s house. They officially started dating on that New Year’s Eve thirteen years ago.
They planned a small New Year’s Eve ceremony in the Boston Public Garden. They both liked the idea of a 1920’s inspired wedding. Tom wore a three-piece suit and Alisson opted for a beaded dress and old Hollywood waves.
They were excited to add fun props in their photos. They took photos on the Commonwealth Mall in front of their first Boston apartment. Their wedding was the perfect representation of their lives together.

I was never nervous to marry Tom, but I was so nervous to see how my look would come together because you always dream of feeling your best for your big day. I knew that the hairstyle I dreamed of would be difficult with the thick long hair I have but we still attempted it. I am so glad I didn’t opt for something different because Anna gave me the exact Hollywood waves I dreamed of and the most perfect glam makeup look. When I look back on that day I will always remember how beautiful I felt. Thanks Anna!!
