Meet Our Featured Bride
Rachel and Andrew met working at a summer day camp in Andrew’s hometown. He had decided to work one final summer at the camp after he returned to the United States from coaching and playing lacrosse in England for a year. Thankfully, that was the summer that their paths crossed, they worked together every day. The rest became history.
Their theme was “Coastal Romance”. Their wedding was on Cape Cod, where they currently live, and they wanted to celebrate in a place that had become very special to them.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen all wore navy blue. Their florals were white hydrangeas and white roses with some pops of blush to match the blush ties that the boys wore.
For centerpieces they collected giant seashells from one of their favorite bayside beaches and used them for table numbers. They added seaglass and floating tea lights, eucalyptus and sea glass tinted wine bottles.
They enjoyed writing and reading their own vows to each other. An incredibly special part of the reception was the memory table. Framed photos of all of their loved ones who had passed away and couldn’t be present on their special day were displayed. Family members are very important to them, especially their grandparents who watched from heaven.
They also made it a special point to include a table full of Italian wedding cookies made by her mother and her two sisters, this is something her grandmother did with her sisters as an Italian wedding tradition.

Throughout our engagement and all of our wedding planning, we constantly reminded ourselves of what really mattered the most – each other. So, even when it poured rain on our wedding day, we couldn’t have been happier. All of the wonderful people that came to celebrate with us, and share in our special moment, brought us so much joy. And the rain must’ve brought us some good luck because we had nothing but sunshine on our honeymoon in Italy!
