Bride of the Month July 2020

It all began with a random text that was sent by mistake and a conversation was sparked from there. The texts developed into something more. Eventually, the conversation faded as Tri went on a deployment tour. The magical spark was still there even though they were miles apart. He made it back safe and sound after deployment and the conversations began again. One Korean girl from a small suburban town of Naperville and one Vietnamese-Chinese boy from the boisterous city of Boston came together.

Tri wanted the theme colors to be red white and blue since he’s super patriotic. Linda decided to keep with the colors but just a bit more formal. She chose a romantic end of summer theme with blush pink, champagne, white, and navy blue with accents of rose gold.

Linda and Tri personalized their day by taking out all of the traditional songs and bringing in more EDM based music since that’s really who they are. Special thought was given to food.  They chose flavors from both sides of the family, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese.

Comments from the bride:
Ann was super awesome and I love the fact that she is so very detail orientated with everything! She made sure that I was satisfied with the look of my hair as well as my bridal party. She was flexible with meeting up for the trial session and made me feel and look amazing on my wedding day!
I got my dress from an online vendor, Anomalie, where they custom make the dress and tailor it to what you want for a really reasonable price. I went through many boutiques and never found “the one”, but I did see a lot of dresses where I only liked parts of them. After almost a 2 hour conversation on the phone to describe from head-to-toe of what I wanted my ideal dress to look like and my measurements sent in, my beautiful dress came in the mail about 6 months later. I loved the dress that I wore not only because it was worn on the day to celebrate our wedding and new journey together, but also because I can really call it mine.
