Kayla and Mike met at Boston University where they were both on the rowing team.

Their love of evenings by the water, a modern chic vibe and a romantic feel lead them to choose sage green, gold and white for their colors. The gorgeous sunset that they were lucky to get, was the perfect backdrop for their colors.

The ceremony took place outside on the terrace of the New England Aquarium. The cocktail reception was inside the aquarium and the reception followed in the tent on the waterfront. The tent had sheer draping, twinkle lights on the ceiling and uplighting.

Their favorite touches were the vows which they personalized and the father-daughter dance. Kayla and Dad danced to a string quartet version of “War Pigs” which is Dad’s favorite song. When Kayla was a child they changed the words to “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” which is what they sang during their dance.
