Amanda and Sean met on Match.com. However, he had worked with Amanda’s best friend Faith who was her maid of honor when Sean was in his teens.
Amanda grew up in Plymouth and had wanted to be married in the Cold Spring Chapel since she was a teenager.
Since the bride and groom are both of Celtic descent they chose to have a hand fastening ceremony rather than a unity candle.
Other nice personal touches were that Amanda’s Godmother married them, her mother and father walked her down the aisle, both of their sisters were in the wedding party and Amanda’s best friend and her husband sang at the chapel and the cocktail hour.

Comments from the bride:
The most important thing was to have our family and closest and dearest friends to celebrate with us. It was truly the best day of our lives.
